Boulder Nonlinear Systems Announces New Capabilities for Improved Performance in Nematic Spatial Light Modulators

OverdrivePlus and Regional Look-Up Tables

LAFAYETTE, Colorado – October 10, 2014, – Boulder Nonlinear Systems (BNS) is pleased to announce the development of two new R&D capabilities for improved performance in nematic spatial light modulators (SLMs): OverdrivePlus and Regional look-up tables (LUTs). OverdrivePlus is a software- or firmware-implemented technique for significantly increasing switching speeds of existing nematic SLMs. Meanwhile, Regional LUTs are an improvement on the existing SLM calibration technique that improve the characterization and compensation of spatial variations in SLM response. Read more about these capabilities on the New Developments page.
